Major Sound Updates for 2025

When you have the likes of FISHER, Hybrid Minds, Josh Baker, Hedex and the rest of the FF25 lineup performing, you want to hear every beat, every drop and every bit of their set with the perfect sound.

That’s why for 2025, we’re extensively upgrading the Forbidden Sound Experience across the entire festival, because that’s what the Forbidden Family deserves.

We’ve overhauled the speaker and delay tower system for each Forbidden Stage to ensure the sound from each stage travels exactly where it should. We have perfectly optimised delay towers to give you the perfect sound experience no matter what part of the audience you’re in.

We’re excited to announce that each Forbidden Stage will now feature a brand new L Acoustics PA system, the same system that are used at some of the world’s most iconic music festivals. We’re installing a stadium-level K1 system on Reactor, ensuring that the bass is not only heard, but felt too. Not only that, we’re doubling the number of speakers compared to last year which will mean more sound, more bass and more energy.

Each stage is carefully placed at different points within The Forest to minimise sound clashing between stages, well now we’ve gone one step further with our state-of-the-art cardioid speaker setup which directs the music straight at the crowd. This ensures the music is heard by only the people that want to hear it, whilst protecting the surrounding areas and local residents from unnecessary sound.

We’ve partnered with one of the UK’s leading audio companies to provide top-of-the-range equipment and experience to Forbidden Forest 2025 to take the experience to the next level.
