£1 Million Site Investment for 2025

We’re taking things to the next level at Forbidden Forest 2025 with an additional £1,000,000 investment into the festival site. We’re spreading this across the following action points:

We’re upgrading the sound system across the entire site which include enhanced setups with updated speaker & tower delays, a brand new L-Acoustics PA system on all stages and a state-of-the-art Cardioid speaker setup to help focus where the sound goes. Read more about our sound upgrades here.

This year we are focusing on providing majority own in-house security, with minimal reliance on contractors for a few specialist roles.

Not only does this mean we can make sure all staff are effectively trained and suitable for their role, it also ensures effective control of our security staff and activities throughout the event.

Getting from the carpark to the campsite has never been easier with a brand new entrance route featuring a solid road walkway. Say goodbye to wheeling your camping equipment over uneven ground, you’ll be able to easily get around The Forbidden Campsite and get things set up.

To combat any extreme weather conditions, we’ve overhauled our wet weather contingency plan for 2025 with additional solutions on exactly how to manage extreme rainfall in The Forest

We’re also introducing designated trackways throughout the campsite, connecting all four corners for seamless, safe access. Whether you’re heading into the arena, grabbing breakfast or looking for somewhere to pitch your tent, these improved walkways will help you get to where you need to be, much quicker and safer.

After record levels of rainfall in 2024, we’ve recognised key parts of the festival site which hide underground streams and therefore can’t absorb as much rain. We’re investing more than £150k into groundwork to improve drainage to ensure the ground is ready to handle any extreme weather conditions we face next year, providing a solid foundation for us to dance.

There’s nothing worse than having to queue for the loo when your favourite DJ is about to take to the stage so for that reason, we’re increasing the amount of toilets we have across the entire festival site. These will be in larger blocks, making them both easier to find and clean throughout the festival.

We’re also buzzing to have When Nature Calls back for 2025 but not only are they back, they’re more than doubling in size! You can expect:

Three times the amount of premium showers and loos.
Skip the shower & loo queue and head straight to the hair styling & pamper area, fully equipped with Dyson hairdryers, GHD straighteners & curling wands along with fully lit make-up and mirror zones for the ultimate getting ready experience. (Only available with the Shower & Loo combo pass).

We’re increasing the size and number of water points across the festival site, with even larger dedicated water bottle refill stations & more hand-washing facilities across the campsite, making it easier to stay fresh and hydrated across the weekend.

To supply our larger water points, we’ve had a permanent water supply fitted, giving us more access to water and increased pressure, allowing us to spread it out better than ever.

Getting around the campsite and back to the carparks in the dark will now be safer and easier due to more than three times the amount of additional lighting along all campsite walkways and exit routes.

We’ve fully revised our signage plan for 2025 and updated it to include more signage across the entire festival site. This will include more directional signage as well as much larger signs for each stage and important location.

We’re introducing centralised information display towers in both the campsite and arena to show up-to-date messages, set times and any other key bits of information that you need to know throughout the festival. These will be updated in real time so you’ll never miss a beat.

We are installing a number of  ‘You Are Here’ maps throughout the event to help you figure out exactly where you are in the festival site and exactly where you need to go.

The Forest is for everyone and we want to give each person the opportunity to experience what Forbidden Forest has to offer. Within our new dedicated access campsite, there will be a 24/7 access team on hand to help out with whatever you need to give you the best possible camping experience. You can find out more information about how to apply for the access campsite and other facilities soon via our website here.

We’re introducing a brand new stewarding team with the sole focus on providing advice, assistance and help with whatever our Forbidden Family needs. We’ll let you know exactly how to find these during the festival for whatever you need. If you would like to join our customer stewarding team, you can volunteer here.

We’re building designated WiFi hotspots and increasing the number or access points to allow more people in that area to connect.

We’re increasing the number of bins around the festival site as well as introducing a brand new refuse station, making it much simpler to keep your campsite tidy and do your bit for the environment. We ask everyone to leave The Forest as they find it to keep our beautiful home in the best condition possible ready for the following year.

We’re taking all the best parts of The Forbidden Forest VIP area and taking them to the next level! We’re creating a brand new VIP area in a more central festival location, ensuring you can make the most of your VIP experience and get to see your favourite artists much easier.

We’re adding a new, completely covered chill out zone in our campsite with 24/7 access. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to eat your breakfast in the morning or you’re unwinding after a night of raving, there will now be a new location to relax in.

As much as the music is what makes Forbidden Forest unique and brings people from all over the world together, we know it’s the overall experience that keeps our Forbidden Family coming back year after year. For 2025, we’re completely revamping our villages with brand new traders, even more bars and even more entertainment to give you the complete Forbidden Experience.
